About Lauren
Our team is led by Lauren Rognrust, an Accountant who has worked in public practice for 7 years. Lauren is experienced in completing tax returns and financial accounts for individuals and small business entities across a range of industries.
Lauren loves being outdoors, going on adventures, cooking, eating wholesome food and being active. She is passionate about small businesses, the environment and mindfulness practices.
Working as an Accountant I noticed a large gap between a business’ record keeping and the data Accountants require to prepare financial accounts. I also saw and experienced first hand, gaps and communication breakdowns between Accountants and Bookkeepers. This led me to start The Happy Bookkeeper, to not only undertake bookkeeping services but to educate and empower small business owners to take control of their record keeping and internal processes.”
